Hi! I'm Jon. I'm a front end web dev from the UK.

This was originally a place to share tips and stories from my 10yrs+ exp working in the Web Design industry until I realised two things:
1. It felt kinda forced.
2. I didn't really want to.

So instead, I now use this quiet side of the interent as a place to cathartically share my thoughts. I often record a dictated voice note on my phones Google Docs during my work commute or on the school run, which I then edit into a blog post.

I find this way of writing sounds and feels more natural to me. It reminds me of Journals from the y2k era of DeviantArt, a time and place where I felt truly connected to a community online- a feeling I've found in short supply of in contrast to how we connect on modern forms of Social Media today.
